According to market research firm Strategy Analytics, the market will grow between 2008 and 2014 reaching € 41 billion globally. Deutsche Telekom and its mobile network operator T-Mobile are striving to further expand their position in this market. The group is combining all its activities in this field and developing additional industry-specific solutions. The focus is on products for logistics and the automotive industry such as fleet management, traffic control, and remote maintenance, as well as products for the energy industry.
