Oozi Cats

Founder, Member of the BoD & CEO

Mr. Cats has 25 years’ experience in creating and leading business ventures. In 2000 Cats has founded Telit than an Israeli start-up for high level engineering and distribution in the field of wireless communications, dealing predominantly CDMA handsets.

In 2003 Cats led Telit to acquire a bankrupt GSM/GPRS handset company in Italy and restructure it to become an m2m world leader. In 2005 Cats took Telit Communications PLC public in the LSE on AIM raising $40M. With the funds in place Cats globalized the company on the technology perspective by adding to its GSM/GPRS core competence also CDMA, EVDO & UMTS. In 2006 Cats opened the APAC market by leading Telit to acquire the Korean market leader and has built Telit USA in North Carolina. In 2008 Telit acquired also a short range technology developer and is currently mastering also ZigBee and Wireless Mesh technology. In 2011 Cats surprised the m2m world with the acquisition of the Motorola m2m division, Global Connect and Navman Location Based Technology making Telit a true Global leader in the m2m arena.

In April 2007 the president of the Italian republic Giorgio Napolitano awarded Mr. Cats with the decoration "Cavaliere dell'ordine della stella della solidarietà italiana". The Stella della solidarietà italiana was originally instituted in 1947, to recognise those expatriates and foreigners who made an outstanding contribution to the reconstruction of Italy after World War II.

 
Moscovitz Yossi

Yossi Moscovitz

President Telit Wireless Solutions

Mr. Moscovitz is President of Telit Communications PLC. Previously he acted as Chief Operating Officer of Telit Communications PLC and before as Head of the Data Products Business Division at Telit Italy. Before joining Telit Italy, Mr. Moscovitz was responsible for the management of the data products activities of Dai Telecom Israel.

Prior to that, the experienced COO was Chief Executive Officer at Cell Data Ltd., an Israeli company engaged in the development and sales of data products utilising CDMA technology and the CEO of Microkim, an Israeli company operating in the field of wireless communications. Mr. Moscovitz holds a B.Sc.EE from the Technion, Israel's leading technological Institute.

 
Fait Yosi

Yosi Fait

Finance Director

Mr. Fait is a Certified Public Accountant and has held a number of executive positions with private and public companies. Yosi's previous roles with listed companies have included CEO of both Alony Group and H&O. Yosi also served as CFO of Pelephone Communications Ltd, the first cellular operator in Israel. Yosi began his professional career as an accountant with Ernst & Young Israel.
 
Dafna Yariv

Yariv Dafna

CFO Telit Communications PLC

Mr. Dafna has held the position of group CFO since February 2007 after he was actively involved in 2006 in the purchase of the M2M division of Bellwave (currently named Telit APAC) and the set up of Telit Americas. Prior to his current position, from 2003 to 2005, he was a financial manager at Dai Telecom Ltd, a Telit company.

Mr. Dafna took an active role in Telit's IPO on AIM in 2005 and in the fundraisings that the company undertook since then. He holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from the College of Management Academic Studies (Rishon LeZion, Israel), and is a certified Public Accountant. Mr. Dafna began his career as an accountant at Deloitte  Israel from 1999 to 2003.

 
Weinstock Yossi

Yossi Weinstock

Vice President Legal and General Counsel of the Telit Group

Prior to joining Telit he worked as an attorney at Fischer, Behar, Chen, Well & Orion a leading Israeli law firm. Yossi has also worked in senior legal positions at KPNQwest in Brussels, Belgium and at IDT Global Ltd. In London, England. Yossi began his career at Fried, Frank Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York, NY and is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center where he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He received an undergraduate degree in psychology, magna cum laude, from Yeshiva University and a Masters degree in psychology from Columbia University.
 
Hierl Dominikus

Dominikus Hierl

CMO Telit Communications PLC

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Hierl was the Vice President for Business Development at SIEMENS AG, Wireless Modules, responsible for the strategy and business development of the Wireless Modules division (one of four divisions of Siemens Mobile) and a member of the management board of the division.

During his six year tenure with SIEMENS, Mr. Hierl worked for SIEMENS Wireless Modules as a manager in several sales and marketing roles. Prior to working with SIEMENS, Mr. Hierl worked 4 years for Rohde & Schwarz as Sales Manager. He is a graduate of Fachhochschule München in Electrical Engineering (Emphasis on Digital Electronics) and in Industrial Engineering.

 
Bufalino Alexander

Alexander Bufalino

Global VP Marketing Telit Communications PLC

Mr. Bufalino joined Telit in 2005. Previous to Telit he worked for several years for SIEMENS AG and the SIEMENS AG spin off company Enocean. He held the position of Sales Director in Europe at SIEMENS wireless modules, the m2m business segment.

At SIEMENS, Mr. Bufalino has been commended for best sales achievements in the region at global level. At Enocean he held the position of International Sales Director. Enocean markets patented and unique ultra low power batteryless wireless modules and sensors. There he invented and created several innovative Marcom tools, one of them the "perpetuum" company magazine which has been awarded the IF award for outstanding design and domain corporate communication in 2005.

 
Gurusamy Mathi

Mathi Gurusamy

COO Telit Communications PLC

Mr. Gurusamy is COO of Telit since April 2011. He joined Telit in June 2008 as Global VP Operations. Originally from Singapore, he has lived and worked in numerous countries, namely USA, Hungary, Poland, China, Hong Kong and Korea.

Prior to joining Telit, Mr. Gurusamy worked for GN Netcom-Jabra and Jabil Circuit in various Supply Chain roles. He received his undergraduate degree with Magna Cum Laude in Operations Management from Central Michigan University and MBA from University of Western Ontario.

 
Marchal Felix

Felix Marchal

Global VP Sales Telit Communications PLC

Mr. Marchal joined the Italian wireless expert Telit as Vice President Global Sales at the beginning of May 2006. Prior to this assignment, the French professional worked as Indirect Channel Sales Director EMEA for WAVECOM. The newly established position of Vice President Global Sales is a key component of Telit´s global sales strategy.

Based on its success in Europe, Telit aims to strengthen its m2m commitment in the US and Asia. Mr. Marchal will be responsible for establishing, adapting and expanding the relevant organisational processes and structures. This staffing coup further demonstrates Telit's growth plans as well as its role as challenger in the M2M market as Telit targets market leadership in the most important vertical m2m segments.

 
Spanghero  Sandro

Sandro Spanghero

Global VP R&D Telit Communications PLC

Mr. Spanghero joined Telit in 1997 and was responsible for the RF Project. In 2002 he was appointed to lead the technical direction of R&D in Trieste driving the development of GSM oriented products. During this period he guided the conversion of R&D into the M2M Development.

In 2007 Mr. Spanghero was appointed as VP Global R&D coordinating the R&D teams in Trieste, Seoul and Cagliari. Prior to Telit he spent 10 years in educational sector. Mr. Spanghero has a degree in Electronic engineering for Telecommunications at the Trieste University.

 
Ueland Michael A.

Michael A. Ueland

Vice President & General Manager Telit Wireless Solutions Inc. North America

Mr. Ueland is Vice President & General Manager of Telit Wireless Solutions, Inc. and is responsible for Telit's operation in North America, including sales, marketing, and customer support. With over 15 years of experience in the M2M segment, Ueland is a respected thought leader with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for M2M companies.

Prior to Telit, Mr. Ueland was responsible for business and market development within the North American utility market for Motorola. In 1998, he founded the US Operation of RAMAR, a UK-based wireless company, and grew it into one of the fastest growing companies within the AMR industry. Frost & Sullivan recognized RAMAR in 2003 for excellence in market and business development strategy.

Mr. Ueland received a BA in Political Science from Kenyon College and a MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago's Booth Graduate School of Business.
